Wild swimming

Sunshine or no sunshine, "wild swimming" is intense, incredible and invigorating. It's all about swimming for pleasure in natural waters, typically rivers and lakes. The UK has so many secret (and not so secret) outdoor swimming spots and it is a real delight to jump in (scream) and enjoy. Roger Deakin was the first to praise this real pleasure all the way back in 1999 and embraces his experiences of "wild swimming" in Britain's rivers and lakes in his book "Waterlog". Swimming in the rain is our favourite and we've also enjoyed convincing our friends to jump in!
