Mindfulness Meditation, senses, relax, live, inspired, happy, see the light
The Lowdown

We’ve all done it and we’ve all heard our friends and colleagues doing it. Rushing around and lamenting how quickly time flies. Life moves so fast that if we’re not careful we’ll wake up one day wondering what we’ve been doing. But wanting to slow things down, live in the moment, be mindful and appreciate the little things in life is easier said then done.

Meditation is a wonderful practice that can help. Most of us have heard of it but far fewer of us have tried it out. Whether the mystical connotations make us wary, or we quite simply can’t find the time to slow down and make room for it in our lives.

Broadly speaking, this ancient discipline is about going beyond the reflexive thinking mind into a deeper more relaxed state to encourage us to take a more harmonious outlook on life. There’s no need for candles, chanting or prayer beads, if that’s not your cup of tea, just a quiet space in which to sit still for a while.
